I did odd jobs over the summer and I was shoveling dirt for a neighbor when I noticed a piece of glass shining in the sunlight. I dug it out to remove it and it was a tiny bottle that I found! I thought it was amazing that it wasn't broken. I collect small bottles and this one was the tiniest one I have ever seen! it is a brown glass bottle with no inscriptions or markings and in the photos I also put a quarter with it to show scale. Has anyone seen a bottle like this before? My sister thinks it was for one dose of medicine or insulin, but I have no idea. Have a wonderful day!

I have several small bottles approx. the same size as yours, but mine are clear bottles. Not a 100% sure but I think your sister is correct in being some sort of medicinal bottle.

I have the exactly same little bottle but mine still has the cap.
It’s a screw-on cap, white painted metal with a shiny white paper liner inside the cap.
No label though, so I can’t say what was in it but I’m guessing some kind of oral medication.

Your post said someone had guessed it may have contained insulin but since this has a screw-on cap, I would not have held an injectable medication.

Mine came from my parents house but that’s not a trusted gauge of it’s age although it could be.

I think the cap with it’s white liner could help determine it’s age.
