Those Fun Handmade Chinese Glass Flower Blossoms On Branches In Pot Vintage Mid Late 20th

I have owned this for quite a while, it is always charming to look at, and mine is quite plain compared to the bigger creations which were made and exported.

You can see that the glass pieces are molded and semi translucent, attached with covered wires to branches also covered wires, then into the faux trunk which is in a pale rock surface inside a small celadon glaze ceramic pot.

Today I had a look on Ebay, and these are still sold with claims that the glass tree is jade, for a lot of money. I have examined the petals and leaves carefully, and air bubbles are present in some of the glassy texture, and feel of it is very light if you know about jade and how heavy and hard it is.
