You know glass is my thing, right? Well occasionally I have to buy other stuff and this gorgeous vase was a must have for me, despite being made from, sigh, resin.
I don't know who made this but it is a masterful piece of resin work. The mould is very detailed and beautiful, and to get the resin in situ with the colours correctly placed before it cured is pretty special. There is a company here in Australia called Dinosaur Designs who have done fantastic resin work, but this isn't from them. It may possibly be Italian, but is not funky enough for Gaetano Pesce and too formal for Michela Gruppach. It may be from the Corsi Design Factory, but really I'm clutching at straws here.
Whoever made it was very skilled. If you have any ideas, cough them up please!

    Height: 25cm (10in)
Also I have no idea where to put this, so I used my habitual category, art glass.

It’s beautiful and certainly does look like glass! I like the colors and the flowers

      Hey there Jenni, thanks!
I like the cabbage -y leaves , and how they overlap. The tulips add to them well.

So Ken, maybe they aren’t cabbage leaves like I thought, but big petals! That’s a beautiful idea, thanks so much!

Wow, it's fab - two of my favourite things - rainbows & tulips! Whoever made it, it's something special...

Beautiful of itself and the way the colours merge is interestingly different from glass. Hold on to it.......it's a piece of history apart from all else!

Looks like a large tulip to me, and a bouquet of smaller tulips at the base. I know what you mean Karen when you say you had to have it, curiosity is a good way to collect as well. Did you know that very curious people show signs of high intelligence? Lol.

Ooh, Lisa, I must keep being curious!
And now I see it is probably a big tulip with little tulips.
I love CW people and their good eye.
      Thanks!

I agree Eileen, tulips are one of nature's flowers that are incredibly beautiful.
I have had to forgive this vase for being resin :))))
