    Hello Everyone,

I purchased some Wellsville dishes at a local sale, but have been unable to confirm what restaurant they may have been designed for either here in Kalamazoo or elsewhere. The oval plate is approximately 9 3/4" x 7". I am assuming the plate is from the 70's, but without information, I cannot be sure.

Have you seen this lovely plate anywhere? I would love to learn more and find more.

At the top there is a black bar that, among things, there should be your name, click on that and check Profile.

This is most likely an "open stock" pattern meaning it was available to any customer and not specifically designed for any particular restaurant. The Wellsville backstamp on your bowl was used throughout the 1950s into the early 1960s.

Thank you, appreciate the information. I will keep hunting - hopefully a pattern name will come available at some point making the hunt a bit easier. Thanks!
