I got this bracelet from my uncle. The bracelet had been in a drawer since 1964. He does not remember where he got it, and weather is was new or old when he got it. This piece is well made and heavy (around 2 oz) . Can anyone tell me anything about it? I believe it could be Navajo from what I have researched. Is this turquoise considered quality? How old might it be? I have not cleaned them at all, should I? If I can ask, what would the value be? (I am not selling it, but would need to insure it). Thank you all for the help.
This is a nice bracelet. I can't see if it's signed or not so I can't tell you anything about it really other than it does look quite old and in very good condition. Valentino97 is right in saying cleaning is a personal preference so if you do decide to clean this piece, I would suggest you do not dip it in anything. These stones look like natural turquoise and could be damaged by chemicals.
