Karen thank you for the lovely compliment, I am truly glad you liked this design, I thought its molded beige leaves with the brown stones were very unique
Thank you Ken for the great compliments, it's really true the colors are perfect for fall, and I was so glad add a molded glass piece to my collection like your Trifari fruit salad, they are very hard to find & I love them
Eileen many thanks for the fabulous compliments, this is something different for my collection & I was very lucky to find it from an English seller, as Sphinx was a British designer. So glad you enjoyed it my friend
Thank you so much MrsT for the kind words, isn't it great how they etched the glass leaves, I have to look around for more from this designer love the originality
Many thanks officialfuel for the thoughtful love I really appreciate it
Wow........I think you just help me ID a piece here that I just got, as looked at the signature on yours, and I think my piece is Sphinx too. Not as pretty as yours !!
Thanks Sean and Rose for the thoughtful love and support I am always sincerely grateful.
Eileen, appreciate the revisit and lovely compliment, this came to me from England and I was delighted it was even prettier in person
Rose the Sphinx co was a little aggravating with their marks, the easiest is the oval cartouche with SPHINX all in graduated caps, but they would often just number a piece and unless you could pinpoint their style, ID was a guessing game. I have two bird brooches by them, one has the oval signature and the other just a number, but the latter confirmed as Sphinx by a British seller so in future I will post these two birdies together. Glad I could be of help my friend
Thank you all for the love
