He's so cute- his expression is the best, the doting eyes and the little mouth pulled down, makes you feel REALLY sorry for him! Lol! I guess the glass he's made from is rather unusual too, makes it look like he's actually made from icing sugar or something?

Thanks Lauren for the sweet comment, he is a sad eyed lil cutie! It reminds me of a panda plush toy, I had one as a child & they are still popular. Such gentle bears in real life & unfortunately endangered. Fenton made a lot of animals in opal glass, it's sort of milk glass but less shiny, yes this does look rather like sugar!

Yep Eileen it quite a sugary sweet lil bear! We are going to have some kind of panda expo in NYC this winter, saw it in the paper, would love to attend that. Many thanks for your wonderful praise as ever
