I bought all sorts of nice bits and pieces yesterday. This was on our local Market Stall, and he saw me pick it up, and said " I think that's one of yours" meaning glowing green glass! It's 9.5 cm tall and its a bit small to be a vase, so I thought maybe a toothpick holder? It's a very yellow green, which I call vaseline glass, and it has a lovely glow under UV light. I can't find one like it, s help would be appreciated.

Great piece - could also be a small glass for a strong drink? Perfect for a shot of whiskey!

From the colour probably late Victorian and maybe a spill vase?
    3. NevB, 5 years ago
Possibly John Derbyshire, Henry Greener or Davidson.

Thanks NevB. I didn't look at Victorian glass, as I thought it looked newer! I think it's too small to be a spill vase.

I now think this may be quite modern. I've just posted a piece of Boyd uranium glass from 1998-2003. Yours may be by them but they did mark their pieces, it could be the earlier Degenhart or another US. factory.
