I also picked up this pretty porcelain cup and saucer on friday. Its covered in pretty hand painted flowers, and has pattern number 2/5614, which I have identified as made by John Ridgway of the Stoke on Trent Potteries. I did discover the handle had been broken and repaired when I got home, but when it dates from 1830-35, I guess it's a miracle it's survived at all! It was a charity shop find, and not too expensive.
