    Hello everyone!!
Here's something fun. It's my Charlie Chaplin figure. I've always been a huge fan of the old silent Charlie Chaplin films. The film titled "The Kid" is one of my absolute favorites. This was made by Austin Productions, Inc in 1972. I'm not sure who the artist was, but it is signed "EISNER" as you'll see in pic #4. He measures 13 1/4" tall and made of aluminum. The figure is still in pretty nice condition, with the exception of a few chips in the paint. Hope you like him as much as I do.

Thanks to you all for taking time to stop in for a look!!!

    Scott

He's wonderful, what a great likeness! In that outfit I can just picture him waddling along swinging his cane, his movies looked so much fun & more innocent times

Thank you Jenni!! I too think it's a great likeness of Charlie Chaplin. You're absolutely right, those wonderful old movies were filmed during a much more innocent time than today's world.

Charlie Chaplin was probably considered one of the most important figures in the history of the film industry. His career was both filled with both praise and controversy. A very interesting man.

You're absolutely right buckethead. His films are historical. I've seen a couple of documentary films about Charlie Chaplin. He was accused of being a communist and eventually forced out of the country by the FBI. But, he did have a bad habit of expressing his political opinion much too often.
