This is a Tom Clark Gnome named "Shorty". His sign is Gemini.
Shorty's production number is #1046. He was produced in 1984. The mold number for this guy is 30 (3rd production run). He is signed by Tom Clark and he was retired in 1993.
Shorty's story reads - "(Gemini, 1984) This fellow is a "Shorty" like his creator. His coin, with farm produce on it, is from Israel. He is always the first one in the patch each day and it is he who dusts the berries so that they will show off for the pickers".
This is a replacement "Shorty". I originally had about 65 of these guys. After the fire in Paradise, Ca in November of 2018 It took me awhile to even think about replacing any of my collections. These gnomes were very dear to my heart. My brother decided to get me started again with this guy. "Shorty" was also my great uncles nickname, so upon receiving this my brother told me " I know it can never replace those lost in the fire, but you can start over and get new ones". It was inspiring and sweet. So after 10 months, I finally have my first replacement piece.
Welcome back Tanni, I just love Shorty he is a very fun gnome! It is so nice of your brother to get you started again with your Clark collectibles they are so cheerful :)
