Can anyone identify the age of this road sign? This is a large metal sign that has been hanging in my dad's garage. He has since passed away and I'm trying to identify his road sign collection. This one is a mystery..... Thanks for your help

Not to be a smart-*ss 'Captain Obvious', but I'd start with searching for cities named "Torrance" which are also the county seats of somewhere...there can't be *too* many of 'em to choose from, and they all are probably rather well publicized...? Good luck, please report back what you find.
OH, that's a nice sign BTW and you mention "your Dad's collection"...?? Does that mean we can all look fwd to seeing some more of them sometime soon?? :-) :-)
Thanks for the suggestion! I have searched and searched for hours on end with no luck. I know this is from Torrance, California because he used to live there. But just no idea on the age. I can't find anything at all like this online. I hope to post more pictures soon... working on identifying some street signs now.
I was going to say, it's from California but I see you knew that. You don't know when he lived there? Geez, my guess would be the 50's or 60's. They definitely don't have signs like that now around here! They're all reflective and have been for a long time. That would have been all tagged up too had it been newer than that.
You can go to the Torrance library, maybe on line, and look thru historic pics from there or even call the city hall.
