    Found this extinguisher at an auction. It was manufactured by the Richmond Chemical Company in Richmond WVA. The gold leaf lettering on the front is battered,but still mostly visable. The directions are on the front of the extinguisher. I don't know much more about it.

      How does it work? Do you just pop the top? I wonder if that was a kind of standard instrument. Anyway, interesting item.

      I'm glad i came across this. I just found one made by the Pioneer Chemical Co. of Ithaca, Ithaca, MI. I am curious to know the date. Do you know when yours was made?
