I came across this Genny doll while going through some old things. I love her Genny sweater! Can anyone tell me what year this doll was made or anything else about her? She has painted eyes and eyelashes.
She appears to be what is called a " Painted lash straight leg walker Ginny by Vogue sating at 1954 . He shirt wold have had a matching skirt and hat . Is she marked like this
Head marked: Vogue
Back marked: GINNY VOGUE DOLLS Inc. Pat. Pend. MADE IN USA
She needs some TLC and her eyebrows and eyelashes have faded which is common in these dolls but collectors prefer them not faded . Her hair is sparse but is still cute and was one of the most popular dolls in 1950's and had a huge assortment of high quality cloths you could buy made by Vogue for her .
That should say Dating her at 1954
