    i found this today at Urban Ore in Berkeley. it's very strange. a very tiny hole and 4.5" in diameter. I have no idea what it is. do you?

      Are you sure it's terracotta - I'm thinking perhaps lacquer? Just a thought...

      thanks watchsearcher, blunder, Roycroft, and finders! i can see the terracotta where there's a small chip on the bottom. it's very thin and high fired though as it sounds like enameled metal when i click it. it's a really cool design and a very mysterious piece!
