    I wonder if anyone could give me any information on this newly acquired chess set? My in laws have had this in their house (Jersey, Channel Islands) for as long as my husband can remember but we have no idea on its origin. Any information, greatly appreciated

      It’s wood but not sure what wood. It’s dark so perhaps oak?
