Hi all
Boy time really flys by. I have for consideration a brief explanation. I am not able to find any details about this german silversmith. The ladle is marked as shown
Esser fernando remscheid
I was about to say I saw a site that noted him only as a knife maker. But not anything on flatware. I was hoping to find a lead on that question of missing info about his business in flatware making. To be honest. I think any type of flatware produced by esser fernando & co. would be highly rare, but it's ..unknown. SURe would be nice to know how esser fernando went into flatware. I know he made knives aND swords .He had several hallmarks.
And so the last question is ..are they possibly real silver.. they were marked 90 or something but in reading about a silversmith named Muller who marked his flatware 90 was found to be in fact actual sterling.
