I was bored so I decided to do something I really enjoy to pass time. I went to the Salvation Army in the next town, and I decided to buy some jewelry. Upon searching for those pieces I considered to be something I wouldn't regret spending my little money on I found this lovely piece. I believe it is a sea glass torsade necklace. After doing a couple hours of research on it I have come to the conclusion that it is indeed sea glass, but still I haven't figured out who may have made this, and what it is worth, so I look forward to having it appraised. It is such a lovely piece that can be worn on almost any occasion.
This is a pretty necklace that I would love to wear.
I’ll share some info that will help you research what you have.
The odd shaped beads are called “pip” beads.
I think yours are made from recycled glass. I’ve seen beautiful beads similar to your pip beads that have been made from glass which has ground down to tiny particles, then pressed and heated to form beads. The texture and finish looks like sea glass.
The round beads are made with a matte or frosted finish.
If you look up recycled glass beads, I think it will help in determining what you have.

Thank you for your information. I find it very helpful. I will look up recycled glass as you has suggested.
