This 8 inch C-wrench was produced by the J. H. Williams Company of Buffalo, New York. The W in the diamond indicates Buffalo as its point of manufacture, rather than Brooklyn, NY, as Williams' Brooklyn's products did not feature the diamond.

This is a vintage tool that still works. It is a tribute to America's manufacturing capabilities of days gone by.

I obtained this at an estate sale for $1. i had been looking for one this size for a while. This sale was at a late friend's house, and perhaps he put this in my view to purchase as a "going away" present!

This wrench will help me do my job better.

Definitely a well made wrench! I inherited many of my father's tools after he passed 10 years ago. Most of his wrenches were made by Williams. They're the finest wrenches and sockets I own.

Thank you, jscott...for both your interesting comment, and for your love of the photos. Well, your Dad took good care of quality tools, and I am sure that you are carrying on this tradition.
