Quite heavy clay blue and white 9" low bowl with braided handles. Signed W A or W H I think. Can't recall where I purchased it. Is this considered salt glaze? I am not sure what salt glaze is. Please help ID.

One of the joys of my possessions is remembering where items came from. ...Details of travels, people, conversations....they all come back to me.
On occasion, I’ve found a note tucked in or taped on the back of something from long ago so I must have been planning for my sure-to-happen-memory-failure. ;^[

I’ve noticed you don’t recall where you got the pottery items you have posted. Many of the pottery pieces have what looks like the very same blues and browns in the glazes. That makes me wonder if they were made in a pottery class, maybe a college pottery class, and sold as a fund raiser.

Thank you for the tip on where I purchased my items from. Many of these are not a personal collection since I buy and sell pottery and glass since I love both. It is Bill Campbell pottery that is my personal collection and I remember where I purchased each piece. I am drawn to drip glazes and that color combination. Most of the items I have are studio pottery but some such as this piece might be a project piece.
