      Is there a place to connect wires? Place for a battery? What are the dimensions? Could just as easily be a beacon light for anything from trains to aircraft.

      Hi. Yes depending on how mounted. Hole needs to be drilled into it reg bulb attachment inside for wires
      Can give you dimension later

      generically looks to be industrial/utility wire cage sconce which has multiple uses.
