French battlescene prints.

Following the French revolution in 1789 there were several battles in and around France. French battlescene painters portrayed many of them and about 100 years later a French printing company reproduced some of the paintings in prints in the late 19th century. Recently a small collection turned up at an antiquarian sale. I bought the collection and had it framed. Big and heavy - the glass alone weighs 5 kg ! - but decorative, in my opinion at least.
