Hi,
I have been collecting Victorian-era fairy lamps for 50 years. Needless to say, they are difficult at best to find. But, over the years I have managed to develop a modest collection. Over the next few months, I will try to share a few examples from specific (and, not so specific) manufacturers and different types or art glass and designs.
These four examples are all by Thomas Webb and Sons decorated in the Hawthorn (aka Prunus) pattern. They were commissioned by Samuel Clarke and bear his trademark on the lamp cup and, in some cases, are acid stamped on the base.
If you happen to be a fairy lamp collector or want to know more about them, please visit my website www.fairylampclub.com
Enjoy,
Jim.
