I think this is from the RAF but not sure. The back is shaped like a half moon. It’s about the size of a cuff link. I don’t find any markings on it bit it just is a very unique item. Any ideas?

I question it being a cuff link but anyway it is an RAF PTI ( Physical training Insignia ).
