I know nada about drums and would appreciate information on this 17" drum and how to describe it. I am so ignorant on the subject I don't know which end is up literally. It seems to be of good quality and well made. It has rope on it with more fur. Would like to know country of origin and age especially and if it for decoration or an actual tribal drum. Thank you for help.

It is good stuff? I know nothing about this so I appreciate your help. I don't understand djun or tama. Are you saying this is from Mali or Ghana? I am going to list it to sell and don't know where to begin in description or price. Can you kindly help me and tell me djun and tama means please? Have you ever heard of glass artist Tom Philabaum?

How do you know this? You are very well informed but I am going to have to look all these words up to figure out about this. You are not sloppy. Do you have any idea what my drum is worth? Can it be called a drum or do I call it a djun djun? I do not know how one pronounces it. What is a good price sir?

How can you tell this is from Mali just from a photo? I am going to go ahead and list it for sale. You have been very helpful. Thank you.
