This life light is in a lovely décor (tiny spatter on a pink ground) not often found in the UK. Unfortunately, because the top narrows, little light penetrates and it appears dark. In reality it's quite pretty. I've realised too that I have another in the same shape......second from the left in image four.

These are actually vases! No way could you btrun anything in them! The glass would get too hot with a candle or fire source and possibly break - these are not tempered glass, I don't think!! Here's an auction:

      Nope peggy has it correct.

Do some searching on this site-- you'll find a few posts with documentation.

Here's a reference site (It says Kralik, but it also has Welz & more): (Wow - I had NO irda the many many beautiful pieces of glass!) They accept photo contributions, too!

Here is something else to look at:

      https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/230000-fairy-lamp-stands?in=user

The poster is long time fairy lamp collector.

Suggest some research prior to pronouncements!

They are not vases as they have far too narrow an aperture below the 'cup'. Candles were not used in these. They used oil and a floating wick, as I've said to you elsewhere.

However candles of the period burned at a much lower temperature than those of today. In fact fairy lamps and Welz candle lamps of the period did use candles. But that's another subject and you may want to do some research.
