This 5"H cobalt blue glass camel is very rarely available, recently found & a welcome addition to my Pilgrim Glass animal family. Item #915 from the 1970 catalog

I think a blue camel is a very rare piece of glass indeed!...You don't see many of them- I feel his pose looks a little impatient, his rider has just found a secret entrance to some long forgotten tomb and is exploring it, all the while the camel just stands there amidst heat and flies and wants to be off!
I love the sense of dunes in the background.....it certainly adds ambience.

Right MrsT it's a different animal from me for a change, I have been "chasing" this one for years and finally saw it online, couldn't believe it! It's nice to have it in the cobalt too, many thanks for the great comment
