1920's Deco Style Embossed Leather Pill Boxes El Prado J. DURAN

I found this pair of deco style pill boxes at a local estate sale confident that I would have no problem researching given the extensive markings - not so! As should be visible they are hinged boxes with divided plastic liner inside; appear to be embossed leather outside; measure just over 2" long. My feeling is they might be souvenirs from the Prado Museum - and that "J> DURAN" might be the brand of the crafter. Any ideas? Thanks
