    Can anyone please help identify this red piece of glass I think it might be called a compote but not sure I just bought it because I loved it
    and has the right spot for it, I think it might be old .

      Any help in identifying this piece would be gratefully appreciated
      It a rich tone of red the stem is clear twisted and the finial on top is clear many thanks

      That's nice! I like the twisted stem and the bit of rigaree around the lid. Great red too.
      I would think it's European,possibly Bohemian or Italian.
