Halloween: probably the holiday that has always been my favorite because you can be so creative with it, not to mention the candy!
These are some of my all-time favorites.
Picture 1: A scarecrow scene I made in my mom’s yard a couple of years ago.
It held up so well that, at Christmas time, I changed it’s shirt to a red one, put a lit Christmas tree by it and kept it till the Spring daffodils were sprouting up underneath the hay bales!
Picture 2: My wishes for everyone all the time, Peace and Love!
Picture 3: a Halloween witch I made for my mom’s porch. My sister contributed her old wedding dress and veil, and I put her in one of the porch chairs so she could sit with the rest of our visitors.
One of our male relatives started calling her “Sweet Thang” and that name just seemed perfect!
Picture 4: a feral cat that claimed us and took up residence. He knew where the food was plentiful and the people were kind to him.
I went outside one morning with camera in hand and was able to get this perfect picture of him in the washpot planter.
We named him “Midnight”.
