I’m no Fenton expert...But if you are I would love to hear your feedback on this beautiful piece. It’s an absolutely pristine condition and I was recently advised it was Chinese yellow by Fenton and very rare/covered it. True or false? If so any idea on the value or where I can locate that as I haven’t been able to do so on my own. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer :-)

glass with this type of satin crizzled iridescent finish is called 'stretch glass'. Fenton made these is various sizes and colors; from the photos here the color looks like 'topaz'. (never heard of Chinese yellow)… This may be a #604. Check this link on colors and follow the links on the bowls to compare sizes.

Chinese Yellow is indeed a Fenton color, not rare but not often found either. It was introduced in the early 1920s as Jade Yellow but by 1924 Fenton catalogs were referring to it as Chinese Yellow. It was produced into the 1930s and is one of the most desirable of the 1920s-30s Fenton colors.

As TC mentioned above your bowl may well be Fenton made. However this form of cupped shallow bowl was also made by H. Northwood and Diamond, along with possibly Central & Tiffin in Topaz Stretch. Without the base diameter, it would be very hard to say exactly who made it of those companies based on shape alone.
