I recently inherited this pitcher. I think it is a Bauer Dutch pitcher by Matt Carlton based on a photo I saw of one online. Problem is, I don't really know how to tell for sure. Anyone have any insights or knowledge about this item? It has a burgundy glaze, and a large area where the glaze was missed at the top, near the rim, and the clay shows through. It measures just under 6".

It sure has piqued my interest!!

Clay seems too dark, and glaze too translucent. May just be the photos though. As an alternative, perhaps KY or NC pottery?
