Brought back by my father from the Vietnam War. He mostly flew aboard B-52 bombers and I am curious if this could be from the rotating cannon that is in the tail of these aircraft. It is marked "30 MM R G 71" Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

      The A 10 uses a 30mm. B52s have a 20 mm cannon in the tail.

would it be an anti-tank round?
