    Hi,
I'm trying to date this Furnivals Denmark Blue Platter. It has both a backstamp and incised markings on the back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

The registration number should help you date it! Designs were registered and you should be able to look it up. I’ll see if I can google it!

Looks like it’s from the beginning of the 20th century.

Thanks Adele for your help. I had no idea that the regestration number could be looked up to help date.

The number is a design registration mark, and I’ve found my little Miller’s Antiques fact file. It says this design was first registered in 1904-1905.

Again many thanks. It's a great day when I learn something new!
