The back says "Sheffield Reproduction" and it has some marks. I am curious to date the piece and if the design has a name.

There is an 18 and a 42. It also has an anchor over a crown. NS means Nickel Silver.

I've been searching Sheffield Reproductions on google and I cannot find any like it.

It has likely been used to serve many Sunday dinners where they cut the roast on the tray. I'm curious how people would restore it.

Anything I can learn about it is helpful.

If you have a look you will find this type item for sale on the UK eBay as well as the US. They are priced from $0.99 to $39.99. Silver scrap dealers won't buy nickle silver because there is nothing for them to salvage. Keeping it as is and enjoying it might be the best option.

By the way the ones I looked at also had four numbers and each piece was different numbers. As for anchor over crown, the crown is used for the city identifier, in this case Sheffield. he anchor I am not positive but I believe it indicated plated as opposed to sterling.
