We have quite a few neon signs at the Lakeside Museum in Provo but most don’t have any neon on them as we can’t turn it on for fear of attracting bugs in the Summer and the subsequent spiders that come to eat the bugs and make a huge mess with their webs. We already have a big Problem with them and don’t use neon lights nor light any of our Porcelain signs. In any even we bought this cool Palm Sign in Okla that a friend found for me and I think it looks Pretty good with the porcelain strip signs on the building it’s now on. Gotta have variety I’m told!
Like the neon signs too . But I stay away from them for the same reason. Live in a country and the bugs get real bad around the signs and I can’t open my doors at night . Love to see your collection.
Purvis,
Our place sits next to a river that empties in to a huge lake and we are inundated with Midges all summer and the spiders love em and build webs any place where there are lights. The lights on our buildings are huge magnets for the Midges at night and the spiders follow so cleaning up webs is a nightmare we already deal with and don’t want any added nightmare to it. U get it! Many don’t.
