Vintage 1940's or 50's Hockey Jersey (Unsure of Age)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am unsure of the origin of this jersey. I believe it was to promote this clothing/jersey company out of Detroit, but I can't find any info on it. Extremely rare! Made out of heavy cotton. Has a unique feel to it. The letters are made out of felt.
