Picked up this Early 20th Century 36" Canvas Wall/Dresser Trunk. Nothing rare but excellent condition wise exterior, to fill a void in my collection as this would be my only one. Steal of a price, complete, but no maker label (possibly McBrine out of Kitchener Ontario) & missing one top edge binding clamp. Interior wise typical warping of top drawer cover but still could definitely not say no, and always happy to fill a void with an item complete & in nice shape.

That's a wonderful Dresser trunk you have found. There were many patents for these types of trunks in the late 1800's and early 1900's. They were very functional and stylish. In an effort to share info with others, here are some interesting examples.(Believe it or not there are more) Enjoy!

Took me awhile to find a dresser trunk... this one is in great shape. I know what you mean by filling the void. My goal has been to get one of each type and maker ... over these 10 yrs now I only have a couple left on the list... a fun journey! Keep it going!
