    This appears to have been painted in approximately (going on the back of the canvas) 1873.

    It is unsigned, I have had a few quotes re getting it cleaned but unsure whether to pursue it.

    What is interesting is that Turner used the same colours on his last palette and I understand that he was a customer of Robeson.

    Any information on it would be most grateful.

      Get it cleaned if you like it and want to display it. It looks like a pretty small painting, so shouldn't be too expensive to clean and varnish. If you are looking at it as an investment, I would just leave it alone.
