I suppose this could pass as Tango glass, though I doubt that it's Czech. It's mauvy blue with a clear outer casing. The white handle displays a very neat 'prunt' where it is fixed to the basket. A very tactile beautifully made item with a perfectly smooth base.

Where it comes from I can only guess, but all ideas are welcome.

This seems to me somehow familiar but can't specify my thought. If the pink box from your previous post is Tango the more this one is .Although the colours are different they look similar in terms of intensity and thickness and smoothness too.Don't you think they might come from the same producer?

I'd always thought the basket was Italian but that the bowl was Czech, so I'd never compared them. Both are very glossy, but the basket is heavier and neater in its execution than the bowl.

It may be exaggerating to call them thoughts......

Well, there is some Tango type glass with white trails - I have an orange vase with a white rim, so who knows what's possible? It's a very nice basket regardless of maker!

      It's certainly very tactile too.

Sweet. I love the buttons holding the handle.
      Glass can be hard.....

It can be hard, but I'd seen another basket, pink, on a pedestal with the same white handle and buttons. That was Italian and I suspect this is too.......
