Wishing everyone a fun and safe Halloween!
This is my favorite (and only) Halloween decoration I put out now since we haven’t had trick-or-treaters in 20 years....the driveway is just too long and maybe a little bit spooky with all the trees casting shadows.
I love this witch...she’s a witch but still interested in making herself beautiful!! My kind of gal!!
Thank you, Valentino97 for the comment and love.
And, Officialfuel, thanks for the love!
Happy Halloween Watchsearcher love the great looking witch!
She looks pretty happy. We have a heavy, wet snow here today with a low of 22 degrees tonight, so I don't expect any trick or treaters.
I don't expect any trick or treaters either. It is 88 degrees, sunny blue sky with a breeze coming off the Gulf of Mexico but like you I haven't had any Halloween visitors in over 20 years. Guess I can suffer through eating all the goodies myself again.
Newfld, thanks for your nice comment/love!
kwqd, trudging thru wet snow and a temp that low would deter me, for sure! It’s rainy/windy/gloomy with temp in 40s here. Trees finally developed their bright fall colors and the Encore azaleas bursted into bloom again...so it’s like a mix of Winter, Fall and Spring all at once.
Fhrjr2, your environment sounds ideal!!
I like your way of suffering!! Just try to endure!
I like winter and snow. I really enjoy winter hiking. For one thing, with the leaves down, it is much easier to observe wildlife. I am also often the only person I see out hiking. Also, don't have to slather sunscreen all over my arms and legs. I don't miss trick or treaters at all. Funny, 31 October is often a seasonal turning point, the day when it starts getting blustery, cold and rainy, or even snowy. I remember many Halloweens when the weather turned. At least your witch has a couple of warts. Can't have a witch with no warts!
That’s a great observation about the weather turning about the time of Halloween.....just a day or two ago, we were having weather much more pleasant than this.
Your Winter hikes with snow and wildlife observations sound wonderful!
Thank you, everyone, for all the loves! Much appreciated. :^)
