This is an old postcard from a person that claims to have a historically known relative, Reverend George Junkin D.D., LL.D (November 1, 1790 – May 20, 1868) was an American educator and Presbyterian minister who served as the first and third president of Lafayette College and later as president of Miami University and Washington College (now Washington and Lee University)..
On this postcard she mentions that "grandfather planted this Dogwood in his yard."
On another card she said that grandmother planted those pink roses. Another card she said that the picture on the wall of Robert E. Lee's funeral is a picture of "your great grandfather".

Reverend George Junkin Family is who these post cards are all written about and addressed to in 1920. He had a son named George Junkin. Stonewall Jackson was his son in law. wow! I still have not figured this all out.
