Very romantic image, is it supposed to be Mary and Joseph, the city looks like Bethlehem and they rode in on a donkey
Nice piece! But the important part of your piece is missing from your pictures is the back of the painting. The back of the painting is just as important as the front of the painting. Back of the painting can give information on the canvas, stretchers and keys or if the painting has nails or staples that how you can date a painting.
Chagall? I had to look him up to see who he was in art history. I have included a picture of the back so you can see the staples. I see something new each time I look at this picture. Does anyone see the two kids besides Mary and Joseph in the painting. I spotted one 14 hours ago and now I just saw another one. It has a city too and a goat or ????.
Glue a print of a work of art on canvas. Then paint the edges in roughly the same colors and then varnish the entire painting and it should look like a painted painting. This one is very badly done.
Thanks. I found a picture the original online and it is beautiful. I have learned about another great artist.
