These are very interesting, they hung in my Grandparents house, I think it had something to do when they moved to Texas N 1924 in a model T touring car (I will post this certificate of purchase of this car soon.) But these pics I think are somewhat connected...maybe they got them from Ford not sure.
The glass bubbles out....ever since I was a child I remember these hanging in her house. She lived til 1983 101 -Grandpa 103- 1988
Hope you enjoy and can fill me in on more information. I would greatly appreciate this.
I have three of those assemblies That i received from My great Aunt And Uncles Od place. Mine Have Flowers in Them and I believe there different sizes. Where Did You get The Wire Frame To Hang Them on? I Would Curious To see What You Find Out About These.
Thanks the wire frame, is connected to both pics...it hangs with a small attached loop on the back...This are very old, such as I think back in 1924's when they went to Texas in their model t tourning car. The glass messures 3/1/2 up and down, then across it is 3 1/4 across, they are made to go on the black metal you see hanging, not good at explaining a pic....but it is ALL ATTACHED...My grandfather worked for Ford in teaching people to drive...he moved to texas in 1924..many years later he was the head of the water plant as engineer. My Granny was a McCormick out of Missouri, so she could have taking these with her to Texas...He passed at the age of 103
lol No, I hoping you can help me find out........lol
