I purchased this lamp at an estate sale because it looked so well done. I took the felt off of the bottom, but I can't find a mark or signature. I'm curious about the age and if perhaps it started life as a vase? It's about 20 inches tall. A real mystery to me.

The women depicted have that Pillin Pottery look , but the ones I'm familiar with are painted glazed pieces ; and are usually marked / signed .

I thought the same thing, but you are right about the glaze. I also thought the figures looked a bit like Diego Rivera, Emelio Amero and Jean Charlot style--but there just isn't a mark I can find. Thank you for your insight and comment!
