Picked this up at an old junk shop - not sure what it went with or where it comes from - query it even being. Vintage - is it junk?

That extra piece at the bottom saddest that it is a lid to a tea pot, I think.

Hi,

I can't see any spout or handle. If this was lifted up by the bun, for instance, wouldn't that part just fall off anyway?
