Mostly I'm pretty sure of my ground when I post my glass, but this time less so. Welz made several urn shapes but this particular shape is defined by a very distinctive change of direction where, at the shoulder, it curves inward sharply. It also has a horizontal rib or knurl between the foot and the bowl. All have these features, but seemingly with slight differences. Are the differences small enough to fall within the tolerances that must be allowed for different moulds? Or are the differences large enough for them to be unrelated? Image three is Welz by décor and all are a two colour spatter between an outer and inner layer of clear glass.
Image one shows the most recent version Height 15 cm./6 inches
I can see three shapes:pic 1 and pic 4 are the same whereas Pic 2 and 3 are different ,regardless of different angles .Your question about moulds is fully justified but very difficult to answer,I think.
Thank you for your view on this ..... it's most interesting. Once the photos were lined up I'd thought one, two and four were the same...... allowing for four having been taken from a different angle. Three being different in having a much less acute turn inwards at the shoulder. As I own them I know they are all roughly the same height.
I have corrected my comment as I'd confused three and four previously.
