      This is a great mug. I'm left handed so whatever critters are in mugs like these are usually showing me their backs.

      Oh no.....I didn't think about that issue but you are right or.. correct.

      Ouch!!!

      Respectfully corrected and I added a left handed photo of the mug for those who were blessed with the ability to operate that left hand. Unlike my clumsy left hand.

      Kangaroos .... is there an Australian connection ???

      I don't believe so, she makes these whimsical mugs with sharks and all sorts of animals in them. I just happened across this kangaroo and at first sight I thought it might have come from Australia until I magnified the writing on the base. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was made by someone close to home.

      Lefties actually have a higher survival rate than righties in many situations. If they make it to adulthood, that is. I actually have the best of both worlds. I shoot rifles right handed and pistols left handed. Not a fan of revolvers, though. I was a martial artist for a couple of decades and can vouch for the fact that people don't like to spar with lefties. Might also be why I did pretty well in competitions, too.

      That sounds so much better than "ouch!!!" and thank you for making me feel better about it. You have done well with that left side and even better than most. Right handed rifles, that's interesting. If I tried to shoot left handed, well, I can't tell you what would happen because I never even thought about trying. I only did one martial arts tournament and won 4th place as a child and it seemed to me that everyone was throwing left stuff. I was put out there too soon by my dad back in the mid 70's. I can say it was good for me but I felt I was pushed too hard at the time and dropped out.

      @TreasureTex - All better now! Too bad your parent pushed you so hard. Martial arts is a great way to find balance in life. My parents forced me to play a musical instrument. That did not go well either.

      @keramikos - There was a concerted attempt to force me to switch in grade school. I refused. Stubborn even as a child. Most lefties are ambi to some extent. I was forced to become a rightie when I detached a biceps muscle shortly before I started graduate school. No choice to do everything right handed for several months.

      @bobby725 - re-"Aw. };-)"
