I’m not sure what these type of chairs are are as far as the age was curious if anyone did? I do know they were in an New England old historic mansion that my relatives lived growing up. I have a pair they’ve been recovered.

Both chairs look rather newer like 1940's. They seem to have some Colonial characteristics in their decoration. Pieces are brought into mansions all the time as they do not look like they belong in a historic mansion.
