I am unable to verify this print as no one in my vicinity has ay knowledge on Asian art and hope some one here can shed some light on it as to real? or what?

He was apparently a well known artist at one time:

You can probably just Google his name and look at the resulting images and compare to examples of his signature and stamp to see if they match. He probably made other prints from the same block. What does the writing to the left of the signature say?

This is by the Japanese artist Sadao Watanabe , I have two of his signed prints. I cannot remember his year of passing by that is his signature. You have a great piece.
